Eden Mecham is the pen name of a writer living in rural Vermont.

She received her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Massachusetts, and she’s also worked as a Grub Street instructor in Boston.

Her work has appeared in The Missouri Review, Black Fox Literary Magazine, and others. In addition, she was the recipient of the 2025 Jeffrey E. Smith Editors’ Prize in nonfiction. she has two books forthcoming.

When she isn’t writing, Eden enjoys traveling, hiking, scuba diving, and Latin dancing.
